Field Assistant Setup Tool for Android & iOS
Developed to enhance the installation of Technetix smart amplifiers and optical nodes in access networks, FAST gives field technicians local control for device setup, compensation settings, and troubleshooting. For use with managed Android and iOS platforms, FAST can also run offline to remain operational in coverage dead zones.
Device setup and maintenance functions include:
- GPS location information saving
- Detailed birth certificates for installations
- Profile-based auto-alignment
- Pre-determined profile-based ASLC engagement
- Spectrum band captures for channel level troubleshooting

Full FAST support: DBT-1800 amplifier series & DBC-1800 amplifiers
Limited FAST support:
DBx-1200 amplifiers and nodes with control modules DBDCM-A-1, DBDCM-B-1, DBDCM-B-2 and DBDCM-B-3 running up-to-date firmware. (FAST forces updates to old firmware versions.)
DBC-1200 Lite amplifiers running up-to-date firmware. (FAST forces updates to old firmware versions.)
