Technetix Awarded GOLD in 2024 EcoVadis assessment

August 6, 2024, Albourne, UK - Technetix is delighted to announce they have been awarded the Gold Medal by the leading provider of global sustainability ratings, EcoVadis. The Gold award positions Technetix in the 98th percentile of all organizations assessed, placing us in the top 1% in our industry for sustainability. This significant achievement recognizes the company’s unwavering commitment to driving sustainability improvement across its business.  

With over 130,000 companies rated globally across 220 industries, EcoVadis perform annual reviews of participating companies, examining four key areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. 

Among the many strengths contributing to Technetix’ score, highlights include: 

  • strengthened critical sustainability policies in responsible procurement, minerals sourcing, supplier conduct, and the environment, including the introduction of a new supply chain sustainability assessment program 
  • actions and measures in support of excellent working conditions, staff wellbeing, and employee career development 
  • impactful overhaul on single-use plastics in packaging, resulting in the removal of 6.7 metric tons of plastic from our supply chain in 2023  
  • significant progress on science-based targets, with 37% reduction in scope 1 and 2 emissions 
  • cutting-edge innovation and continual product research and development to assure optimal use of resources, maximize product lifespan, significantly reduced power consumption, and continued utilization of legacy infrastructure
