Join Technetix at SCTE/ISBE CableTec Expo in New Orleans this coming October - and help us celebrate Sandy Howe’s induction into the Cable Pioneers TV - Class of 2019.
During the 1977 NCTA Convention held at the Americana Hotel in Miami Beach, FL, 21 of the early entrepreneurs of the North American Cable TV industry met to become the first Cable Pioneers’ class. Most of those Pioneers are responsible for building the systems and MSOs that would become the nucleus of today’s modern cable broadband industry.
In these fifty-three years, leaders in the cable industry have joined the ranks in being nominated and selected as a member of the Cable TV Pioneers. These leaders come from all areas of cable. They're the founders and presidents of MSOs and program networks, engineers and technicians, inventors, marketers, and entrepreneurs of independent cable businesses. The one thing they all have in common is the huge contributions they have made to the growth of the industry and their communities.
